The Owen County Children’s Choir is an important local outreach of Rock Haven Christian Camp. The Choir began in the summer of 2005 with a two-week Choir Camp. The fall session featured the children’s musical "Christmas in Reverse" which was performed on two evenings to a full house each time.

The spring session will feature the children’s musical "Ameri*Kids, In God We Trust" by Kathie Hill & Nancy Brant. The children will learn important facts of American History that have been removed from most public school books. Such as the fact that most of those who established this nation were Christians and founded this nation on Christian principles. Also, the fact that our founding documents are laced with the Word of God as the basis for a free nation. Included in the musical are some of the prayers of the greatest leaders of our nation like George Washington, Robert E. Lee, and Abraham Lincoln.

At the conclusion of the Spring session and Choir Camp 2006, the children will present this musical on many occasions. During the presentations the four branches of the armed services will be recognized and the veterans honored.

All children grades 2 through 8 are invited to participate in the Children’s Choir. The sessions will be divided into a Spring Session, Choir Camp Week One, and Choir Camp Week Two. Children may enroll in any or all of the sessions available.
